Can Google and AI Actually Find You?
Findable checks your website the way a search engine does — and the way ChatGPT, Claude and Perplexity do, which is not the same thing. Then it writes out what to fix. Free check below, no account needed.
Check a Site Now
We read up to 10 pages and show you the 5 biggest problems. It takes about twenty seconds. Nothing is changed on your site and no email address is asked for.
What It Checks
Six areas, about forty checks, every one of them something a person can act on.
Reachable
Can a crawler get in at all — DNS, TLS, redirects, robots, sitemap.
Indexable
Can search engines keep the pages they find — noindex, canonicals, duplicates.
On-Page
Titles, descriptions, headings, links, images.
Speed
Core Web Vitals from real Chrome users where Google has the data.
AI Ready
Whether an assistant can read, understand and quote the site.
Trust
Who you are, where you are, and whether the site says so consistently.
The Part Other Tools Are Not Checking
A growing share of people never reach a list of blue links. They ask an assistant, read one answer, and click whatever it named. Whether you are in that answer depends on things no traditional SEO tool looks at:
- Whether your robots.txt lets the retrieval crawlers in at all. OAI-SearchBot, Claude-User and PerplexityBot are not training crawlers — they fetch a page when somebody asks a question. Plenty of sites block them by accident, through a plugin default, and cannot appear in an AI answer at all.
- Whether your content arrives in the HTML. Google will render your JavaScript eventually. The AI crawlers largely will not. A site can rank in Google and be completely invisible to ChatGPT at the same time.
- Whether the site says who you are in a form a machine can read — Organization and LocalBusiness markup, one consistent phone number, a real address.
- Whether anything on the site answers a question. Pages written as brochures match nothing anybody actually types.
- Whether an assistant recommends you when somebody describes your customer's problem. We ask, with search on, and record what comes back — including which of your competitors it named instead.
The tools built for this start at $499 a month and are aimed at brand marketing teams. This is the same question asked for a business with fourteen pages.
Why It Is Monthly and Not a One-Off Report
Because a website is not finished, and neither is the problem.
We tell you when it breaks
A plugin update adds a noindex tag. A redirect starts pointing at the wrong page. A certificate expires. You find out the same week, not the quarter after the traffic went.
It remembers what you fixed
Mark something done and the next check confirms it. If it comes back, it reopens itself. Nobody keeps a spreadsheet.
The score is a line, not a number
One reading tells you nothing. Twelve of them tell you whether the work is paying off.
Competitors on the same yardstick
Checked exactly the way you are, so the comparison means something.
AI visibility moves
The answer an assistant gives about your industry changes month to month. Watching it once is watching nothing.
The report writes itself
One a month, in the inbox, in words a person can act on. Agencies can put their own name on it.

Questions
Will this slow my website down?
No. We read pages the way any visitor does, one at a time with a pause between them, and we obey your robots.txt. A full check is a few hundred page views spread over several minutes — less traffic than one person browsing.
Do I have to install anything?
No. There is no plugin, no script to add and no access to your site required. We read what is publicly published, the same as Google does.
Is this the same as Semrush or Ahrefs?
No, and it is not trying to be. Those are keyword research platforms at $129 to $500 a month, built for people who do SEO full time. This watches one thing — whether your site can be found and understood — and tells you what to fix when it cannot.
What does the AI part actually do?
Two things. It rewrites each finding as a fix against your own pages, with the code where code is the answer. And on Pro and above it asks the questions your buyers ask, with search on, and records whether an assistant names you — and who it names instead.
Does the AI make things up?
It is not allowed to. Every finding comes from actually crawling the site; the model is handed those findings and asked to explain and prioritise them, not to look for more. Anything it wrote is labelled as written by it.
Can I cancel?
From a button inside the product, without emailing anyone. It stops at the end of the month you have paid for. Nothing is deleted — your history is still there if you come back.
I would rather you just fixed it.
That is the SEO service, from $750 a month. Findable tells you what is wrong; we can also be the people who put it right.
