Acceptable Use Policy

1. Who this applies to

This Acceptable Use Policy (the “AUP”) applies to everyone who uses a service supplied by MultiTasker LLC — including web hosting, email, software-as-a-service products, and any website or platform we build or operate for you. It forms part of our Terms of Service, and you are responsible for the acts of anyone you allow to use your account.

2. Prohibited content

You must not use our services to store, host, publish, transmit or link to:

• material that is unlawful in the United States or in the jurisdiction the content targets;
• child sexual abuse material, or any sexual content involving minors. We report this to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children and to law enforcement, and we terminate the account immediately and without notice;
• content that infringes copyright, trade marks, patents, trade secrets, publicity or privacy rights;
• content that promotes or incites violence, terrorism, or hatred against a person or group on the basis of a protected characteristic;
• threats, harassment, stalking, doxxing, or non-consensual intimate imagery;
• malware, ransomware, exploit kits, phishing pages, or credential harvesting forms;
• fraudulent schemes, counterfeit goods, or deceptive investment or earnings claims;
• unlicensed pharmaceuticals, controlled substances, weapons or explosives where such sale is unlawful; or
• content that violates United States sanctions or export controls.

3. Prohibited conduct

You must not:

• attempt to gain unauthorised access to any system, account, network or data;
• scan, probe or test the vulnerability of any system without written authorisation from its owner;
• launch or participate in a denial-of-service attack, or generate deliberately abusive traffic against any third party;
• intercept, monitor or alter traffic that is not yours;
• forge headers, spoof identities, or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or organisation;
• operate open relays, open proxies, anonymising exit nodes, or infrastructure for botnets or command-and-control;
• mine cryptocurrency on shared hosting infrastructure; or
• use search or social techniques that breach a platform’s terms — including link schemes, cloaking, doorway pages, scraped or spun content, fake reviews and purchased engagement. We will not perform such work, and we will not host it.

4. Email and messaging

You must not send unsolicited bulk or commercial email through our services. Any marketing email you send must comply with the US CAN-SPAM Act and any other law applying to your recipients, which means at a minimum: honest headers and subject lines, a clear indication that the message is an advertisement, your valid physical postal address, and a working unsubscribe mechanism honoured within 10 business days.

You must have a lawful basis and a demonstrable opt-in for every address you mail. Purchased, scraped, rented or appended lists are not permitted. We may throttle or suspend outbound mail that generates high complaint or bounce rates.

5. Fair use of shared resources

Hosting accounts share finite CPU, memory, disk and bandwidth. You must not run processes that degrade service for others. Where an Order sets specific limits, they apply. Where it does not, we apply a reasonable-use standard and will contact you to discuss an upgrade before taking action, except where the load is causing an active outage.

Backups we provide are a convenience, not an archival service. You remain responsible for keeping your own copy of anything you cannot afford to lose.

6. Security obligations

• Keep your credentials confidential and use multi-factor authentication where it is offered.
• Keep any application code, plugins and themes you control up to date.
• Tell us promptly at support@multitasker.llc if you suspect a compromise.
• Do not disable or circumvent security controls we have put in place.

Responsible disclosure. If you believe you have found a vulnerability in a system we operate, please report it to abuse@multitasker.llc. We will not pursue legal action against anyone who investigates and reports in good faith, acts without accessing or destroying other people’s data, and gives us a reasonable opportunity to fix the issue before disclosing it.

7. How we enforce this policy

Where we can, we will contact you first and give you a reasonable opportunity to fix the problem. Depending on the seriousness of the breach we may: ask you to remove content; disable a specific file, page or feature; suspend the account; or terminate the service.

We may act immediately and without prior notice where there is a risk to other customers or to our infrastructure, where the content is unlawful on its face, or where we are required to act by law or by an upstream provider.

Suspension or termination for a breach of this AUP does not entitle you to a refund, and does not release you from fees already incurred. If you believe we have acted in error, email legal@multitasker.llc and we will review the decision promptly.

8. Reporting abuse

To report a breach of this policy by something we host, email abuse@multitasker.llc with the URL or IP address, a description of the problem, and any evidence such as message headers or timestamps. We acknowledge abuse reports within 2 business days and prioritise reports involving active harm.

9. Copyright and DMCA notices

We respect intellectual property rights and respond to valid notices under the United States Digital Millennium Copyright Act, 17 U.S.C. § 512. It is our policy to disable or remove material we host that is the subject of a valid notice, and to terminate, in appropriate circumstances, the accounts of repeat infringers.

To file a notice, send a written communication to our designated agent that includes all of the following:

1. a physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorised to act on their behalf;
2. identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed;
3. identification of the material claimed to be infringing, with enough detail — normally the full URL — for us to locate it;
4. your name, postal address, telephone number and email address;
5. a statement that you have a good faith belief that the use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law; and
6. a statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorised to act on the owner’s behalf.

Please note that under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f) a person who knowingly and materially misrepresents that material is infringing may be liable for damages, including costs and legal fees.

10. Counter-notices

If your material was removed and you believe that was a mistake or a misidentification, you may send a counter-notice to the agent above containing: your signature; identification of the material and where it appeared before removal; a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification; your name, address and telephone number; and your consent to the jurisdiction of the United States District Court for the district in which your address is located, or — if your address is outside the United States — of any judicial district in which we may be found, together with your consent to accept service of process from the person who filed the original notice.

We may restore the material 10 to 14 business days after receiving a valid counter-notice, unless the original complainant tells us they have filed a court action seeking to restrain the activity.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this AUP as our services and the legal landscape change. The current version is always published here with its effective date at the top. Material changes affecting an active service will be notified by email at least 30 days in advance, except where an immediate change is required by law.
